What could be better than live Irish music? Live Irish Music in Gavin’s Pub! We love live Irish music. Hey, who doesn’t? That’s why we don’t charge admission to our guests for these live shows. Enjoy artists like: Andy Cooney, Celtic Cross Band, Deirdre Reilly, Narrowbacks, Donal O’Shaugnessy, Paddy Noonan, and more!
Gavin’s Famous BBQ with Karaoke DJ – Every Tuesday & Saturday
Fun, excitement, and food! Start the night off with the sounds of the talented Karaoke Craig DJ. Then delight your taste buds with Gavin’s Famous BBQ and listen to Live Irish Music for the rest of the night. MOST Tuesdays and Saturdays in July and August
*For 2023, We have also ADDED a “NEW” Steak & Shrimp BBQ on Thursdays in July & August with Live OUTDOOR Music or DJ Music
Rock Climbing Wall by Climb Time-Most Thursdays in July & August
CLIMB TIME, Inc. is one of the first mobile, portable rock climbing walls in Upstate NY. The massive 24′ rock wall has four sides and offers 20 different climbing routes. All the routes vary in difficulty, and they all can be used at the same time. It’s great for all ages and abilities. We’ve had climbers from 3 to 87!
The rock climbing wall uses a patented “AutoBelay” system that provides dual built-in safety measures to automatically lower the climbers slowly and safely to the ground. The portable rock wall is attached to its own trailer and becomes vertical with the use of hydraulics.
Bonfire Night – most Tuesdays and Saturdays
Gather ’round the bonfire pit for some delicious roasted marshmallows and great family together time.
Family Activities –Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
We have an Activities Director available Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays (off Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays). The activities feature Arts and Crafts under our tent from 10am–12noon. From 2-4pm we feature Bingo, Horse Racing Games, Trivia, Name that Tune, Wiffle Ball, Kickball Volleyball Games, and more!
Gavin’s Inn Customized Weekly Itinerary
We have a full midweek itinerary from Sunday-Friday, and a weekend itinerary from Friday-Sunday. It is customized each week with the various activities, events, entertainment, and meal choices that we are offering for particular groups and customers that are in-house for that time. Gavin’s Inn customizes the weekly itinerary so all groups/families needs are met!
Sample Schedule. Finalized Itinerary available upon arrival. If you have a special request, do not hesitate to ask us and we will try our best to accommodate an activity. We build a customer schedule weekly and sometimes bi-weekly depending on special packages and/or groups and gatherings.
Friday
8 pm-11 – Live Irish Music in Gavin’s Pub ; music starts at 8 pm.
Saturday
10am-12noon – Arts and Crafts – Throughout the Season!
2-4pm – Bingo, Horse Racing Game, Wiffle Ball or Kickball and more
5:30-7:30pm – Karaoke Craig DJ – July and August
6-7pm – Gavin’s Famous BBQ Night – July through August (Roast Beef, Chicken Parmesan or Eggplant Parmesan May/June/September/October)
8 pm – Live Irish Music in Gavin’s Pub –
Sunday
11 am Check-out for most guests
3 PM Check-In for Sunday Arrivals. *Please keep in mind, we are typically sold out most weekends so if you are arriving on a Sunday, we can not guarantee your room to be ready until 3 pm. You can visit our sister property Nellie’s for Breakfast or Lunch at 2212 Route 145, East Durham, NY 12423
